The ultrasound blog was updated to include images ofthe Acuson P50 revision 2 ultrasound systems. The major updates include MUCH better cardiac imaging, including better wall definition, penetration, and improved color Doppler. The other key (and possibly most important) feature is the addition of SieClear technology. This is the much awaited spatial compound imaging feature. It is used in linear probes and drastically improves tissue definition, artery walls, and overall image quality. The Acuson P50 color Doppler also fills vessels very well and has solid frame rates.
4D imaging with the Acuson Antares 4D 3D ultrasound is our latest video. We took a look at the premium edition of the Antares and we continue to be impressed with its image quality, price point, and its 3D abd 4D imaging was great and easy-to-use. It can also be tailored as a shared-service unit and is appropriate for all markets.
