Acuson and Siemens Ultrasound Machines

Now owned by Siemens, Acuson has long been known for high-quality ultrasound equipment, particularly in the refurbished market. Their systems are typically recommended for OB and Vascular work for their XP-10 and Aspen systems. Their Sequoia is among the more desired units for all studies.

Siemens has not been as popular in the United States historically as Acuson, ATL, or GE, however, it is quickly making its mark after acquiring Acuson and also after introducing its latest Antares units. Siemens is also introducing quite a few lower-end models and has an outstanding portable cardiac unit in the Cypress.
