Acuson and Siemens Ultrasound: Acuson Aspen Advanced Ultrasound

Acuson Aspen and Aspen Advanced Ultrasound Machine

The Acuson Aspen Advanced includes Tissue Harmonic Imaging, an internal hard drive and available DICOM compatibility that makes it a competitive low-cost system that many will compare to, or choose over the ATL HDI 3000. Most who choose this over the ATL find that it's more of a subjective preference over very solid objective evidence. We typically don't sell early revisions of this, and this document refers to systems that are revision 6 or higher (Advanced Imagegate levels). Earlier versions aren't much better than their predecessor 128XP-10 except that they have a DICOM option.

This machine is well-known for its OB/GYN and vascular applications, however, it includes integrated Stress Echo, which makes it the best low-cost choice for those who need a shared-service system with stress echo.
