This small laptop-sized black and white unit has very good image quality and the prices start around $6,000. It's hard to beat for low-volume applications or musculo-skeletal, basic OB/GYN, or general radiology imaging.

With the release of the Logiqbook XP, the price has dropped dramatically on the original GE LogiqBook system. It has similar features as the XP and a good image for one-half the price. A good match for start-ups and vets. Around $11,500.

We have had tremendous success with this unit as most of our customers fall in love with its great image and small size. Slightly larger than a standard laptop computer, the LogiqBook XP has color Doppler, Tissue Harmonics, PW Doppler and basic cardiac (no CW Doppler, yet). Not to mention, it's a very durable and strong unit with a low service incidence rate. Its image quality is very impressive for such a small unit and is really a sign of what's to come for portable ultrasound units. We have yet to have a customer deny this unit after they've seen its image quality. This is among GPS Medical's favorite ultrasounds. Prices start around $18,000.

The Acuson Cypress has been the choice for many years as the answer for the portable Cardiac system users. GE's Vividi has surpassed the Cypress in image quality, but at triple the price. Many of our mobile business customers use the Cypress with no problems, no service issues, and +good quality images. Prices around $17,000 with a cardiac probe.
