The GE product line has become very broad in recent years as it ventured into the cardiac market when it acquired Vingmed. A brief history:

• OLD GE: very good OB machines.
• Not-So-Old GE with Vingmed (System Five and Vivid Series): excellent Cardiac/Vascular systems; solid OB/Vascular systems.
• New GE (Voluson, Vivid, and Logiq series): There is typically a good GE solution in every price range on the refurbished market.
