Free Applications Support on Every Voluson 730 Ultrasound Machine Purchase.
For a limited time, we are going to share our knowledge of the Voluson FREE with every purchase of any version of the Voluson ultrasound.
Why?
1. Because nobody else can do it for free.
2. Nobody knows these systems better.
3. In selling more than 100 Volusons over the years, we get more post-sale questions about usage of this machine over any other.
The Voluson 730 has great image quality and is easy-to-use. However, when introducing new technologies, there are always new questions. We've been giving all these customers free support for 6 years, but we've never advertised it. Now we are.
This free offer will save you hours of frustration and billable time. You can send us your images, call for questions, or walk through complicated procedures. Free.
Now, on to our review...
We've trained more than 100 doctors, sonographers, and nurses on this system doing everything from 4D "babyface" to AFI to carotid and vascular imaging. What we've learned is the same as other systems: Everyone's needs are different, their budgets are different, and they don't understand the Voluson's upgrade structure.
It's complex, confusing, and there's no way to tell the difference between what you want and what you need.
So, when you call us, we'll have questions for you.
Don't get us wrong. There is no doubt that the highest end Voluson, Voluson Expert BT08, is simply outstanding. But oftentimes, an earlier, less expensive and highly stable version will suffice.
In other words, a 10-minute phone conversation can save you more than $10,000.

On to the review:
Arguably the most well-known ultrasound in the world, the system pictured here is the "original" Voluson 730 revision 1.0 that was featured on so many television shows and GE advertisements. It introduced 4D "babyface" imaging to the world with the song "The first time ever I saw your face". It became a hot topic and a very hot ultrasound, particularly when people discovered its user-friendly interface and that it was more than just a "cool" medical device. It also has very good 2D imaging and harmonics, as well as PW Doppler, Color Doppler, and packages for vascular, fetal cardiac, urology, full gynecology, abdominal, and even cardiac (some have CW Doppler as an option).
This is GPS Medical's most popular system and we're well-known in the industry as the Voluson experts. The Voluson 730 "standard", featured here, is the original unit that GE distributed. It has very good image quality, a customizable user interface, tissue harmonics imaging, a full range of applications and calculations (also customizable), DICOM compatibility, and a hard drive for image storage. The misconception here is that since it's the original, it's outdated. This is far from the truth as its 4D imaging is as good as most of its Œnew' competitor. Most practices that we sell this to are adding 4D to their lineup as a nicety to their patients, or are looking to do 4D imaging on their non-diagnostic scanning dates for a fee. |
