GE Ultrasound Machines: Voluson 730 Expert
GE Voluson 730 Expert Ultrasound Machine
|
|
At the top of the line of 4D ultrasound systems, the GE Voluson 730 stands uncontested among its competitors in frame rate and overall image quality for 4D imaging. This is also the unit that always carries the newest technologies first (among the Voluson units), making it the best unit for perinatology, level 2 ultrasounds, research institutions, and others seeking the best, most technically advanced 4D ultrasound on the market.
Recently the Voluson has picked up a lot of the high-end technologies from the Logiq line of GE ultrasounds, including the options CrossXBeam and Speckle Reduction Imaging, providing excellent image quality even at deep penetration. It also adds Tomographic Ultrasound Imaging (TUI) as an option, which allows the simultaneous viewing of multiple slices of a volume data set. In addition, Spatio-Temporal Image Correlation (STIC) allows clinicians to capture a full fetal heart cycle in real-time using a volumetric transducer. It is an excellent vascular and radiology machine, although those not needing its 4D capabilities may be better off looking at other ultrasounds.
The Voluson 730 Expert remains relatively inexpensive compared to other high-end ultrasounds and we've found it to be a very stable machine. |
