How do we decide which ultrasound machines go on this site?

We've offended some people by only listing certain ultrasound machines and ultrasound components and equipment on this site. But it's not our customers who we're offending.

That's because we've chosen to sell what we consider the "best bang for your buck" when it comes to ultrasound machines, systems and equipment. Some believe we should recommend all equipment and let the customer decide. We considered that, but knew it would only confuse the consumer.

At GPS Medical, some of the best things we offer our customers is our experience and knowledge that cannot be found elsewhere.

In talking to all these people, we generated a list of ultrasounds we think best service our customers, and that was determined by:

Price/Performance: Is it a market leader at a good price?
Service History: Is this a problematic system?
Parts and probes: How long will parts be around for this unit?
Availability: Are there enough out there?

Our list changes as time goes on, and different systems become more available or improvements are made by the manufacturer.
