Often manufacturers will tout their highest-end product, while forgetting about its next-in-line products, which have a much lower resale value on the Used Equipment market. The ATL HDI 5000 with SonoCT remains one of the best imaging ultrasounds on the market today, and is literally a fraction of the cost of newer machines. Many of our customers continue to purchase these machines over newer equipment because they KNOW that 2- or 3-times the price doesn't bring 2- or 3-times the performance. It's drawback? It's a little slower when changing probes or applications, there's no touchscreen or flat-panel option, and it's older no longer manufactured. Rest assured, we have about 20 of these units in our warehouse for parts, testing, and service. We also repair nearly all parts on these machines. Service in the future will not be a problem. |

The newest system to join the market of great mid-range, high-quality ultrasound systems is the Acuson X300. Its popularity is quickly increasing as this new "X" series of Acuson ultrasounds takes hold of the ultrasound market. It's a relative newcomer as Acuson introduce its next-generation ultrasound systems that are built around the classic features of the well-known Acuson brand. Its user interface is simple, uncluttered, and the image quality is simply outstanding (particularly for its mid-range price).

Someday this spot will be reserved for the Philips iu-22, but because of it's more lackluster sales and problems in its early stages, the iu-22 is hard-to-find and is very expensive (overpriced and over-valued) on the refurbished ultrasound market. Meanwhile, GE's strong sales in the radiology and OB/GYN market and our extensive knowledge of GE systems and contacts, GPS is available to provide the Logiq 9 in a number of different configurations ans price points for you. |
