The SonoSite MicroMaxx has some of the most attractive features for its specific audience, particularly for scans involving the Physician in which the machine is used as a tool to assist, or provide
It boots quickly, has great image quality, and is very easy to use. This is a great machine for point-of-care ultrasound. Its durability is unmatched in the industry, the probes are lightweight and extremely tough. Many see this as a direct competitor to the Logiq e or Logiq i from General Electric, but we beg to differ. While they compete in the same general marketplace, a few well-thought out questions can help you determine if this is the right machine for you.
Overall we really like the SonoSite machines and we love to sell these. They are stable and the image quality typically surprises people for something that looks so basic. It's simple to use and is easily to store and transpoert It's important to note that these systems were built for Point-of-Care uses. We're finding that Family Physicians, Emergency Rooms, Internal Medicine, anesthesia and many other emerging fields prefer the SonoSite because of its solid quality, small footprint, portability, and ease of use.
Last note: if you are looking to use this for a heavier cardiac workload, get the Acuson Cypress for cardiac/vascular and abdominal uses... in most cases the SonoSite will be the system you would go with unless you're looking for a unit with Stress Echo. |
